Before joining UNDP in 2009, Milorad has worked for Statistics Canada for seventeen years. He has also worked for the Federal Statistical Office of Yugoslavia and was teaching statistics at the University of Belgrade, Serbia, and the University of Iowa, Iowa City, United States. As a visiting scholar he was doing statistical methodology research at the University of Southampton (UK) and the University of Wollongong (Australia). Milorad’s main interest is in survey sampling, analysis of complex survey data, analysis of longitudinal data, estimation of inequality, polarization and poverty, composite measures of progress and international comparison. Milorad holds a Ph.D. in statistics from the University of Belgrade.
